365 project - 41st week

Again, I'm finding myself running out of inspiration and steam on this project. I'm so looking forward to the end of the year when I can put my camera away for a bit. I'm not planning on putting my camera away forever, just maybe not take photos everyday. I still have a lot to learn about photography and using Photoshop Elements effectively.  I hope to continue on with it, just at a more leisurely pace.

Without further ado, here are my photos for the 41st week of my 365 project:

365 project - 40th week

I know I took too many leaf photos this week, but because I live in a forest, it's generally the first thing that catches my eye when I step outside. Pretty soon, I'll be surrounded by snow, so right now I'm happy to be seeing all of the leaves.

The first two shots are throw-away shots that I should never have posted. Too late now. I was trying something that didn't work out. I had to go with what I got. I like the last three...the water drop on a crow feather, the leaves floating on water, and the mushrooms on the tree. I've been semi-obsessed with those mushrooms, so look for more shots of them soon.

Also, I missed a day, so I took two photos on one day to make up for it. Ooops....

Here are the photos for the 40th week of my 365 project:

365 project - 39th week

The weather is slowly turning colder, but I'm still trying to shot mainly outside. That won't be the case much longer...maybe another couple of weeks. Most of my inside shots now are ones I've taken late at night on days I forgot to take a shot for the project.

This particular week we had a few really nice days of warm weather which prompted the ladybugs (or ladybirds) to come out and one last hosta to show some colour. The neighbour's dog, Dakota, sure liked being outside and we were happy to keep her company.  Now that it's fall, we've had thousands of Canada Geese pass overhead in their V-formations as they head south.

365 project - 38th week

Yep, I'm procastinating again! I just caught up with posting my photos only to once again get behind. Oh, well. I'm just going to accept that I'm going to post when I can and not beat myself up about it. At least I'm still making the effort to take a photo-a-day.

Here are my shots for the 38th week:

The neighbour's dog has been hanging around our house lately, so you'll see a few shots of her. Her name is Dakota and she's so photogenic that it's hard not to post more photos of her.  She doesn't always pose the way I want her to, but we love having her around, so I take what I can get.  ;)
