My 365 Project

If you follow this blog regularly, you might have noticed that I haven't been posting updates on my 365 project.   You may also remember that I'd been toying with wrapping up the project early.

Well, I haven't quite wrapped it up, but I have stopped posting my photos on the 365 Project website and Flickr.   I'm still taking daily photos, but I haven't been editing (post-processing) them or posting them online.
I hope to do that in the near future, but right now other things are getting neglected and it's stressing me out.  I'll probably stick to posting them on Flickr and this blog.  The 365 project website is a great site and I've learned a lot by being there, but it's a huge time suck that I don't have time for right now.   Besides, I wasn't able to give that website my full attention and that left me feeling guilty.  That didn't do anything for my inspiration or my morale.

I can't say for sure when I'll be posting some photos, but hopefully it will be soon.
Thanks for your time, support and patience.
Stay tuned....

365 Project - 28th week

Here are my photos for the 28th week of my 365 project.

I had a crappy week. I'm quickly losing any interest in continuing this project. I'm going to take it day by day.

Photo Friday - Countryside

Submitted for Photo Friday. I've directed that traffic to my Flickr site, though, because the photo shows better over there. :(

Because of my 365 Project, I haven't been participating in Photo Friday that much. For any challenge, I generally like to take a photo after I've seen the theme. That is, I don't like to use a photo in my archives. However, I took this one less than two weeks ago and I really like it. It's so iconic for the Canadian Prairies, so I decided to use it. Besides, I can change my self-imposed rules any time I want. :P
For more "Countryside" photos, visit the Photo Friday website.

365 Project - 27th Week

Here are my photos for the 27th week of my 365 project.

I had an okay week. I saw some new things (fawn, cool weeds) and learned some new things in PSE. While I don't love all of the photos I took this week, I'm pretty content with how things went.

I don't have any favourites, but I'd love to be able to retake shot #2 (squirrel). I think I can do better.

365 Project - 26th Week

Here are my photos for the 26th week of my 365 project.  Yippee!   I've made it halfway through this project. I still don't know if I'm going to finish, but I'm happy that I made it this far.

As I look at this photos as a group, I think I'm getting stale.  My photography skills are not where I'd like them to be and I think I may be sliding backwards into some bad habits.   Maybe I can make some changes this week or learn a new photography technique.  We'll see.

My favourites are 1, 2, and 7. As you can see, the 2nd photo is the same one as my previous post.

Yarrow and Friend on 365 Project Dakota 2 on 365 Project Impatiens on 365 Project Cool Drink for a Hot Day on 365 Project Pink Spirea on 365 Project Pink! on 365 Project Flat on 365 Project
